Do laboratory values for chilled ceiling performance hold up in practice?
[In German. / En allemand.]
Author(s) : STEINEMANN J.
Type of article: Article
Summary
Demonstrates the extent to which the performance of chilled ceilings can change if their installation and operating conditions in practice differ from those obtaining during laboratory tests. Explains the decisive importance of taking account of the operative temperature, and also of the influence of the diffuser and direct solar radiation and the resulting different temperatures of the room walls. Contrasts theory and practice.
