CONSOLE TYPE UNITARY AIR CONDITIONERS, UP TO 5.5 KILOW CAPACITY, HAVE BEEN DEVELOPED AND MANUFACTURED TO PROVIDE THE VERY PRECISE TEMPERATURE AND HUMIDITY LEVELS REQUIRED IN THESE VEHICLES SINCE THEY ARE LIKELY TO OPERATE IN EXTREME CLIMATIC CONDITIONS. AS AN EXAMPLE, A < CATEGORY A > CLIMATIC CONDITION IN AN ARID REGION CAN BE 316 K (43 DEG C), 20% RH WITH A VEHICLE ROOF TEMPERATURE OF 336 K (63 DEG C) UNDER SOLAR RADIATION AT 1,140 W/M2.
