Summary

The economic properties of the air-source heat pump, ground source heat pump and solar-assisted ground-source heat pump system have been analysed. The cost saving performance of the ground-source heat pump and the solar-assisted ground water heat pump system have been calculated and compared with the air-source heat pump. The former two heat-pump systems are superior to the latter. Measures designed to save costs and energy are pointed out.
