Summary

The note contains a first review of the answers to a questionnaire intended for the African members of the "Building" and "Refrigeration" working groups, as part of the ECOTECH programme of the French National Scientific Research Board (CNRS). It contains information on research done in Mali, the Ivory Coast, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, as well as details on building sector operators in Burkino Faso, the prices of refrigerating equipment in Burkino Faso and Benin, and on electricity consumption in nine African countries.
