AFTER REVIEWING THE IMPACT OF THE OZONE-LAYER REDUCTION ON THE ENVIRONMENT, THE AUTHOR EXPLAINS HOW ENTIRELY HALOGENATED REFRIGERANTS CONTRIBUTE TO OZONE DEPLETION. HE JUSTIFIES THE NECESSITY OF REDUCING THE EMISSIONS OF THESE FLUIDS INTO THE ATMOSPHERE. HE UNDERLINES THE IMPORTANCE OF OPERATOR TRAINING IN THESE NON-OR LESS POLLUTANT TECHNOLOGIES. FINALLY, HE REVIEWS THE MEASURES RECOMMENDED BY THE IIR.
