Summary

EXPRESSION FOR THE I-V CURVE OF A SMALL-CAPACITANCE JOSEPHSON JUNCTION AFFECTED BY EXTERNAL ALTERNATING CURRENT SIGNAL OF FREQUENCY IS DERIVED WITHIN THE TIGHT-BINDING LIMIT FOR AN ARBITRARY VALUE OF THE OHMIC DISSIPATION PARAMETER. INTERACTION OF HARMONICS OF THE ALTERNATING CURRENT SIGNAL WITH THE BLOCH OSCILLATIONS CAUSES < VOLTAGE STEPS > TO APPEAR IN THE I-V CURVE.
