Summary

BY MEANS OF LIGHT MICROSCOPY THE EFFECT OF FREEZING CONDITIONS ON THE KINETICS OF THE FREEZE-DRYING OF CRYOCONCENTRATED OR UNCONCENTRATED BLOOD PLASMA WAS STUDIED. THE EVIDENT INFLUENCE OF THE STRUCTURE OF ICE FORMED ON FREEZING AND OF THE INITIAL PROTEIN CONCENTRATION OF THE PRODUCT ON FREEZE-DRYING INTENSITY WAS ESTABLISHED.
