Freeze drying of plasma fractions including factor VIII.
Author(s) : WILLEMER H.
Type of article: Article
Summary
Resistance measurements for plasma fractions were carried out in order to select the optimum parameter of freeze-drying such products. The results of ER were confirmed by a cryo-microscope. During secondary drying, the residual moisture was monitored and documented in terms of desorption rate measurements. The reproducible residual moisture content is very important for viral inactivation of the products as a thermal after treatment.
