Summary
Functional and histological studies were carried out to assess the effect of osmotic pressure of storage solutions on kidney preservation with simple surface cooling. The results may suggest that a higher osmolarity in both UW and Euro-Collins solution is recommended for simple surface cooling preservation of kidney.
