Summary

WHEN STUDYING THE HEAT AND MASS EXCHANGE PROCESSES AND FROST FORMATION ON VARIOUS RIBBED PIPES, THE AUTHORS DETERMINED THE EFFECT OF THE GEOMETRY OF RIBS ON THE THERMOPHYSICAL PROPERTIES OF FROST. A RELATIONSHIP WAS OBTAINED BETWEEN FROST THERMAL CONDUCTIVITY AND DENSITY. THE STUDIES SHOWED THAT THE GEOMETRY OF THE RIBBED HEAT EXCHANGE SURFACE HAS AN EFFECT ON FROST THERMOPHYSICAL PROPERTIES.
