Summary

SPRAYING OF GIBBERELLIC ACID AT THE LEVEL OF 0, 50, 100, 150 PPM WERE MADE ON TREES. TWO HARVESTINGS AFTER 5 AND 12 DAYS FROM THE TREATMENT WERE MADE, AND THE TREATED FRUITS WERE PLACED IN STORAGE AT 273-275 K (0-2C). THE FRUITS OF THE SECOND HARVESTING SHOWED A SUPERIOR QUALITY. AFTER 40 STORAGE DAYS IT WAS NOT FOUND DIFFERENCES BETWEEN THE TREATMENTS. AFTER 70 STORAGE DAYS THE BEST RESULTS WERE FOUND IN THE FRUITS TREATED AT 50 PPM FOR THE FIRST HARVESTING DATE OR IN THE FRUITS UNTREATED AND TREATED AT 100 PPM FOR THE SECOND HARVESTING DATE.
