Summary

To extend the shelf life of water dropwort after harvest, the authors investigated the effect of modified atmosphere packaging and precooling on quality during storage. Freshness of water dropwort could be maintained after precooling for 12 days in polypropylene film packaging, for 9 days in low-density polyethylene film packaging and for 3-6 days in the control.
