THE TEMPERATURE OF 253 K (-20 DEG C) WAS THE MOST FAVOURABLE TEMPERATURE FOR STORAGE OF TURKEY SEMEN FOR 24 HOURS. WITHIN THE SCOPE OF THIS STUDY IT WAS ALSO FOUND FOR THE FIRST TIME THAT SUPERCOOLING METHODS CAN BE EMPLOYED TO ACHIEVE SHORT-TERM CRYOPRESERVATION OF TURKEY SPERMATOZOA.
