EFFICIENCY INCREASE AT EVAPORATIVE CONDENSERS.

Author(s) : KISS J., FODOR L.

Summary

IN ORDER TO INCREASE THE COOLING CAPACITY OF EVAPORATIVE CONDENSERS, THE AUTHORS DEVELOPED A NEW WATER DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM WITH A PRESSURE DROP MUCH LOWER THAN WITH CONVENTIONAL SYSTEMS. THE DROPLET SEPARATOR CAN BE AVOIDED. WITH THIS CONDENSER, 8 TO 18% INCREASE IN THE COOLING CAPACITY WAS OBTAINED WITH WET COILS AND 25% WITH DRY COILS.
