Summary

A DIAGRAM IS PRESENTED FOR AN AUTOMATED AIR-COOLED CONDENSER FOR EXISTING REFRIGERATING MACHINES WITH A REFRIGERATING CAPACITY OF 3.5 TO 10.5 KILOW. AFTER THE TESTS, THE ORIGINAL DATA WERE OBTAINED FOR THE CALCULATION OF THE ECONOMICS OF THESE MACHINES. THE AUTHORS SHOW WITH AN ACTUAL EXAMPLE THAT THE USE OF AIR-COOLED CONDENSERS DECREASES ANNUAL OPERATING COSTS BY 2.9 TIMES COMPARED TO CONVENTIONAL MACHINES USING MAINS WATER, BY 2.2 TIMES COMPARED TO THE USE OF RECIRCULATED WATER AND BY 1.7 TIMES COMPARED TO MACHINES WITH AIR-COOLED CONDENSERS. THE INTRODUCTION OF AIR-COOLED CONDENSERS IN 1,000 REFRIGERATING MACHINES PROVIDED AVERAGE SAVINGS OF 950,000 ROUBLES IN COMMERCIAL FIRMS.
