Efficient compact exchange surface for air conditioning.

Author(s) : IVAN G., IVAN N.

Summary

Air conditioning systems use air-heat exchangers. The low level values of the heat transfer coefficients require special forms of surface to intensify the heat exchange. Today's systems require compact heat exchanger surfaces. The paper describes a new compact type of surface used for the air-heat exchangers. The authors analyse the advantages (increasing heat flux) and the few functional disadvantages using laboratory experiments.
