Summary
The paper describes a theoretical electrical defrosting system and assesses the efficiency of air coolers for defrosting. It also discusses problems and complications involved in energy-efficient defrosting of the surface. It then describes the energy saving defrosting system and methods of initiating defrosting. Electrical energy consumption by the electrical defrosting system is also calculated.
