Summary

The article reviews the limitations which apply to the different condenser types. Criteria in this are several basic terms from the cooling process and the factors which play a part in the choice of condenser. The options and applications which exist for free cooling are looked at further after the energy consumption is evaluated using a calculation model. Expected developments are considered when choosing the condenser.
