Summary
The energy behaviour of a wall having a ventilated air gap for various climatic conditions was analyzed. The aim of the paper is to find optimal conditions of air flowing within the open system, formed by the ventilated wall and the room, from the thermal comfort point of view. Particular emphasis is given to the case in which the ventilated air gap is placed between an opaque wall and a glass sheet.
