Energy conservation of future refrigerants.

Type of article: Article
Summary
Both analytical and experimental results show that R32 has the best energy efficiency among all HFC alternatives in split type air conditioners. Direct and indirect warming can be decreased by using R32. R32 has almost the same TEWI to propane. The authors estimate 7% larger COP by using R32 than R410A. World consensus of R32 safety will bring the fast transition of HFC alternative from R410A to R32.
