Summary
Data centers are responsible for about 2% of global carbon emissions today and use 80 million megawatt hour of energy annually. There are various ways to reduce power consumption for cooling/ventila-tion to less than 30%: increasing server room tempareture; increasing cooling equipment efficiency; reducing cooling distribution.
