Summary

THE LOW TEMPERATURE OPERATION OF THE ATMOSPHERIC COLLECTORS USED, EITHER AS EVAPORATORS OR AS SECONDARY HEAT EXCHANGERS AT THE COLD SOURCE OF A HEAT PUMP, GENERATES ENERGY RECOVERY BY CONDENSATION OF MOIST AIR ON THE WALL. A MODEL IS SUGGESTED FOR EVALUATING THE HEAT AMOUNT TRANSFERRED TO THE COLLECTOR DURING THIS CHANGE OF PHASE AND FOR ESTIMATING THE SHARE OF ENERGY DUE TO CONDENSATION IN THE OVERALL ENERGY BALANCE OF THE COLLECTOR.
