Summary
The current labelling project deals with the energy consumption of cabinets only. For the purpose of labelling, the (draft) european standard prEN 441 will act as the measurement method for energy consumption. Labelling is intended to facilitate the comparison of energy efficiency between cabinets, for this purpose categories are suggested in which comparable cabinets are grouped. A definition of functionality of refrigerated cabinets is suggested for refrigerated service counters. When plotting energy consumption against functionality for a number of cabinets in one category, a "cloud of points" arises, through which a "market average" line can be plotted by means of regression analysis.
