DIFFERENT SYSTEMS FOR RECOVERING ENERGY FROM HOT SOURCES ARE EXAMINED IN TERMS OF THEIR THERMAL LEVEL, INCLUDING HEAT PUMPS (ELECTRICALLY OR GAS DRIVEN). THE APPLICATION OF ENERGY RECOVERY PLANT WITH RANKINE CYCLES WITH ORGANIC FLUIDS IS DEALT WITH. DIAGRAMS ARE GIVEN FOR EXISTING PLANT AND THEIR TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS AND OPERATING CONDITIONS ARE DESCRIBED. THE RESULTS OF ANECONOMIC STUDY SHOW THE POSSIBLE LIMITS OF EFFICIENT APPLICATION.
