Summary

HEAT RECOVERY BY MEANS OF A HEAT PUMP PRODUCING HOT WATER; SELECTION OF THE CONDENSATION TEMPERATURE OF THE REFRIGERATING SYSTEM: CALCULATIONS HAVE SHOWN THAT INCREASE OF CONDENSATION TEMPERATURE IS NOT ADVANTAGEOUS; A LOWER CONDENSATION TEMPERATURE WITH THE USE OF A COMPLEMENTARY ELECTRIC HEATING SHOULD BE PREFERRED. HOWEVER THE DESIGN OF A HEAT RECOVERY SYSTEM MUST BE STUDIED, AT ALL EVENTS: A TABLE OF HEAT AVAILABILITY AND HEAT REQUIREMENTS HAS TO BE CONSIDERED, IN ORDER TO SELECT THE BEST ARRANGEMENT. THE A. INDICATES A GRAPHICAL METHOD FOR CALCULATING AND COMPARING THE OPERATION COSTS OF VARIOUS SYSTEMS. HE GIVES SOME NUMERICAL EXAMPLES (IN DANISH CROWNS). J.G.
