Summary
The article discusses a new computer program comprising four design questionnaires and pertinent graphics for the design and evaluation of heating insulation schemes for buildings. The program works largely with design standards currently in force in Germany. The user enters the data to be optimized and the marginal conditions in the files created for this purpose. A large number of data are available (material parameters or requirements stated in DIN 4108 for example).
