Energy saving cooling system of reciprocating hermetic compressors.
Author(s) : DAGILIS V., VAITKUS L.
Summary
In order to increase efficiency of refrigerating compressors, the structure of volumetric losses should be revised. Losses because of gas heating constitute the greatest part of losses. The article focuses on the cooling system of compressors operating with oil. Such a system gives an increase of COP up to 4%. Other benefits are also obtained.
