Energy-saving defrosting of evaporators.
Robuste und energie-sparende Abtauung von Verdampfern.
Author(s) : DANGER J.
Type of article: Article
Summary
Due to their open design, evaporators for air cooling deliver a majority of the defrosting energy to the refrigerated chamber and react sensitively to different operating conditions. Snow or dripping water on the ceiling of the refrigerated chamber can be the result. By the application of textile closing mechanisms, the air frosting energy remains in the evaporator and makes the process more durable. Energy conservation with electrical defrosting is proven using an example.
