Summary
This article simulates and analyses the annual operating energy consumption of the combined systems and the conventional fan coil unit plus outdoor air systems, under typical meteorological conditions in seven cities. It discusses the climatic factors affecting the energy saving effect of the combined systems. With the energy consumption comparison between the combined systems and conventional VAV systems, it considers that the energy saving effect of the combined systems is more marked in most areas in China.
