Summary

The plant for recuperation of carbon dioxide emanated during beer fermentation including several stages of purification with a liquid CO2 final product has been examined. The method to increase power efficiency of the ammonia refrigerating machine to cool propylene glycol by including an additional heat-exchange apparatus - evaporator of CO2 produced during recuperation has been described. The cycle of such an ammonia refrigerating ma chin has been calculated, and the adiabatic power of the refrigerating machine compressor has been defined based on that calculation. The energy consumption saving of the ammonia refrigerating machine due to the inclusion of the evaporator of CO2 in the propylene glycol circuit has been defined. The efficiency subject to variability of the carbon dioxide rate during different time of a day has been analyzed.
