Summary
At every door or entry where people pass frequently, the thermal equilibrium is unsteady. These disturbances can be mostly avoided with air curtains. Hence the space used as a permanent storage area can be enlarged for most of the time. It was proven with models that air curtains reduce heat losses due to door openings.
