Summary
Urban areas with high air conditioning demand are considered in this article. It introduces the basic pattern, which consists of energy cascade and resource circulating type cities. It then stresses the importance of understanding cooling/heating/hot water supply processes as part of the total utilization of primary energy. It mentions the combined use of cogeneration and district cooling/heating systems which have a high demand for heat and electric power. Finally, it discusses a rational electric power network using a dispersed power source system.
