Summary
The thickness of the liquid film on the metal surface is an important factor affecting the evaporative cooling efficiency. There exists an optimum liquid film thickness for high efficiency of evaporative cooling upon the assumption that the other factors are kept constant. The technical measure - supplying the evaporation water source timely and periodically - could keep the liquid film thickness within high efficient range, so as to improve the heat exchanging efficiency of the evaporation process.
