Summary
THE EFFICIENCY OF SYSTEMS DEPENDS ON THE COUPLES USED. THE R22-DIETHYLFORMAMIDE (DEF) COUPLE SEEMS TO BE PROMISING FOR THESE SYSTEMS. THE PAPER GIVES DIAGRAMS FOR THE ENTHALPY OF SATURATED VAPOUR AND MIXTURES IN TWO PHASES OVER A WIDE TEMPERATURE RANGE AND FOR ALL POSSIBLE COMBINATIONS. THE ENTHALPY-CONCENTRATION CHART WILL FACILITATE THE CALCULATIONS REQUIRED FOR THE THERMODYNAMIC STUDY AND THE DESIGN OF REFRIGERATING SYSTEMS USING THIS COUPLE.
