Environment probe or recovery probe?
Sonde d'ambiance ou sonde de reprise ?
Author(s) : DAVY DE VIRVILLE P.
Type of article: Article
Summary
The environment probe, which takes the radiation temperature into consideration meets the comfort requirements better. Furthermore, it provides a longer balancing time of the loop that has to be controlled and a smaller "degree of difficulty" of the loop than with a probe in exhaust air. Those definitions of the delay time, the balancing time and of the degree of difficulty of a loop are presented. Finally, the exhaust air probe is used only if one cannot find a good place for the environmental probe or if the radiation effect is weak. J.L.
