EQUIPMENT SELECTION OF SMALL REFRIGERATING CHAMBERS IN TROPICAL CONDITIONS.

Summary

IT HAS BECOME VERY USUAL TO SELECT THE COMPONENTS OF COOLING OR AIR-CONDITIONING PLANTS, BY USING DESK-TOP COMPUTERS. THE INTRODUCTION OF THESE TECHNOLOGIES AND THEIR ADAPTATION TO THE LOCAL CONDITIONS OF CUBA RESULT IN SIGNIFICANT SAVINGS, BOTH OF MANPOWER AND MATERIALS. THE USE OF A DESK-TOP COMPUTER FOR THE MATHEMATICAL MODELLING OF A COMMERCIAL COLD ROOM MAKES IT POSSIBLE TO DETERMINE THE OPTIMUM-OPERATION PARAMETERS OF THE PLANT AND TO DEFINE AND OPTIMIZE THE ENERGY COST.
