Summary
It is difficult to measure parameters of ready-made adsorption chillers. The objective of this study is estimating heat exchanger parameters and internal states of adsorption chillers. Heat exchanger parameters were estimated by gradient descent method. The internal states were estimated by observer technique. MATLAB/Simulink was employed for the modeling and the calculations. The results of the simulations showed that the heat exchanger parameters and the internal states were estimated well by the proposed methods.
