Summary

This book contains the abstracts of the EUROTHERM Seminar n° 33, held in Paris, France, October 13-14, 1993, organized by ADEME (Agence de l'Environnement et de la Maîtrise de l'Energie), GRETh (Groupement pour la Recherche sur les Echangeurs Thermiques) and CETIAT (Centre Technique des Industries Aérauliques et Thermiques). It was co-sponsored by the IIR. The main chapters deal with: innovative concept and design of heat exchangers, phase change heat transfer and pressure drop in tubes and channels, air side enhancement techniques, single phase heat transfer enhancement in tubes and channels, moisture condensation and frosting, and use of new materials, especially in industrial processes.
