Summary
It was estimated that a solar-driven absorption cycle heat pump grain drying system can save up to 40% of electrical energy requirements compared with a compressor-driven heat pump system, 60% compared with electrical resistance heating and more than 70% compared with liquid petroleum gas and oil heating.
