Evaporative air-conditioning fundamentals: environmental and economic benefits worldwide.

Author(s) : FOSTER R. E., DIJKSTRA E.

Summary

Evaporative air-conditioning is an environmentally friendly and energy efficient cooling method that only uses water as the working fluid. Evaporative air conditioning provides superior indoor air quality over vapour-compression systems since 100% outdoor air is used. The use of evaporative air conditioning instead of vapour-compression systems also helps reduce global CFC and other greenhouse gas emissions.
