Summary
Heat transfer and pressure drop measurements were performed on 3 rib-type roughened tube annuli with two-phase flow of R114 under evaporating conditions. The data were compared with the performance of a smooth tube annulus. The effects of a number of parameters were examined, including mass velocity, heat flux, rib geometry to the pressure drop and heat transfer characteristics.
