THE AUTHOR STUDIES THE EFFECT OF THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN AIR TEMPERATURE AT THE EVAPORATOR INLET AND THE EVAPORATION TEMPERATURE, THE EFFECTS OF THE EVAPORATION TEMPERATURE AND OF THE AIR RELATIVE HUMIDITY ON THE PERFORMANCE OF DIRECT INJECTION AIR COOLERS. THIS STUDY IS BASED ON AN EXPERIMENTAL PROGRAMME UNDERTAKEN IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE DUTCH STANDARD NEN 1876.
