Summary
THE AUTHORS PRESENT A METHOD FOR DETERMINING THE COEFFICIENT OF CONVECTION HEAT EXCHANGE BETWEEN THE WALL AND THE FLUID INSIDE A TUBE. THE WALL TEMPERATURE IS SUDDENLY INCREASED AND THE RECOVERY OF THERMAL EQUILIBRIUM RECORDED AT SEVERAL LOCATIONS OF THE EXTERNAL SURFACE OF THE TUBE MAKES IT POSSIBLE TO CALCULATE EXCHANGE COEFFICIENTS WITHOUT ASSUMPTIONS A PRIORI ON THEIR DEVELOPMENT IN TIME AND SPACE. THE SYSTEM OF ACQUISITION AND PROCESSING OF TEMPERATURE CHANGE DATA GIVES THE EXCHANGE COEFFICIENTS.
