THE AUTHORS PRESENTED 2 SUCCESSFUL SURGICAL CASES USING AUTOLOGOUS FROZEN BLOOD TRANSFUSION. THEY CONCLUDED THAT THE USE OF FROZEN BLOOD IS THE ONLY METHOD TO PREVENT THE COMPLICATIONS BY BLOOD TRANSFUSION SUCH AS HEPATITIS, ACQUIRED IMMUNODEFICIENCY SYNDROME (AIDS) OR GRAFT VERSUS HOST DISEASE.
