Summary

As part of a broader international cooperation variable speed scroll compressors have been tested in a specially designed water-to-water heat pump test rig at TECNARS in Bari, Italy. Experimental results for the compressor performance and efficiency are being compared to catalog data of single speed reciprocating compressors.
