THIS PAPER DEALS WITH THE RESULTS OF AN ENERGY SAVING OPERATION. DIFFERENT HOT WATER GENERATION METHODS ARE COMPARED: ELECTRIC BOILER, HEAT PUMP AND SOLAR SYSTEM. THE REPLACEMENT OF THE ELECTRIC BOILER BY HEAT PUMPS REPRESENTS AN ENERGY SAVING OF ABOUT 40%. THE SUPPLEMENT OF THE SOLAR SYSTEM REPRESENTS ADDITIONAL SAVINGS OF ABOUT 10%.
