AUTOMATIC CONTROL OF A HEAT PUMP FOR THE PASTEURISATION AND REFRIGERATION OF MILK.

Author(s) : AJUPOV A.

Summary

THE SPECIAL CHARACTERISTIC OF THE SYSTEM IS PRODUCING WATER BETWEEN 363 AND 368 K (90 AND 95 DEG C) AT THE OUTLET OF THE CONDENSER AT THE SECOND STAGE OF THE HEAT PUMP PLANT, IN ORDER TO PASTEURISE MILK. THE PURPOSE OF THE STUDY WAS INVESTIGATING HOW TO AUTOMATISE CONTROL AND TO MAINTAIN THERMAL PASTEURISATION CONDITIONS. FOR THIS, THE OPERATION OF THE VARIOUS COMPONENTS OF THE PLANT WAS AUTOMATISED (TEMPERATURE AND PRESSURE OF AMMONIA, OF THE HALOCARBON REFRIGERANT MIXTURE, OF BRINE, OF WARM AND HOT WATER). EFFICIENCY WAS OBTAINED BY INCREASING THE OUTPUT AND IMPROVING THE QUALITY OF MILK TREATMENT, BY SIMPLIFYING THE MAINTENANCE OF THE PLANT, BY SAVING ELECTRIC POWER AND BY EXTENDING THE LIFETIME OF THE EQUIPMENT.
