Summary
Experiments were done on liquid chiller units (15 and 30 kilowatts) equipped with air-cooled condensers, and on a split "air-air" air-conditioning unit (6 kilowatts). The refrigerants used were R22, R407C, R410A and R410B, in order to formulate some recommendations on the use of new refrigerants, sizing and optimisation of machines and their components. The results are given in the article.
