Summary
The paper presents experimental data of a prototype compressor which uses carbon dioxide as a refrigerant. The prototype compressor is the second generation of a two cylinder reciprocating compressor, derived from a conventional R134a series production compressor. The paper gives a discussion of the measured indicator diagrams, the volumetric and the isentropic efficiencies.
