Experimental research and simulation by soil cold storage using natural energy.

Author(s) : YANG T., ZHENG M.

Summary

This paper presents a new technique of using natural cold source, and research change of temperature around soil, energy efficiency coefficient of this system in two phases of storing cold and extracting cold, and establish mathematics model of heat conductivity of U-tube, and simulate the soil temperature field around vertical tube. In the experimental procedure, the average effect radius of soil heat exchanger was about 3 m and energy efficiency coefficient of this system was 2-3 times those of traditional air-conditioning systems.
